Enrolement
Well today was enrolement. So as the name suggests, I enroled. Today was interested, we had a welcome to your final year talk which was well yeah the normal crap, and then we had pick your modules and get a tutor to sign it. So Howard called me over and signed it straight away. I was meant to enrole at 2:30, but went to find James instead as I needed to talk to him about my final year project. He went for his tea break so I ended up talking to Phil, another one of the techies till James came back, and then we had a really good chat for like 45 mins about my diss. Also got some fresher’s fayre stuff sorted. Looks like we are getting 2 monitors for Steve’s demo and then a like 32” plasma screen for the Xbox! Our stall will totally rule! After chatting to James for ages, I went to enrole. I was meant to go at 2:30, but the queues then are huge, so I went around about 11:50 and got through in like 10mins. My shortest enrolement ever! Rung Krissie and she said our cards were ready, so as I was heading back I met my new fresher friends, Chris, Richard and then another random guy called James. We went and got my card then took it back upstairs to James to get swipe card access put on it. So now (For Comsoc purposes) I can get into all the labs in B2. That is great, only slight problem is I can’t actually gain access to the computers because I’m a Geo student, not a computing student. LOL. I’ve fixed all the screws on my BBQ now ready for tonight. Should be nice. Little BBQ and finalise Comsoc with Simon and Sarah. Would have been nice if Steve could make it, but he has work, which sucks. I think we’ll get it all sorted, well I know we will. Ben can’t make it either, but I let him off. I know how broke he is so he is allowed to not come. Doesn’t matter coz he bought me the cutest heffalump EVER! He so rules. He’s like the proper one off the Disney movie. Oh yeah, so, Ben’s not coming, much to Simons disappointment. LOL. Very funny. But yes, I am now alright, getting ready for my BBQ, should be great fun, and then a CU quiz tonight which will totally rule. Laters all, I have to go do something else. xxxx
